Bryan (Liam Neeson), an ex-government spy, has lost his marriage due to the stresses of his job, but after an ill decision by his ex-wife to send his daughter to Europe for a rock tour - his job is what just might save her life.
Upon arriving in Europe, his daughter gets kidnapped by sex traffickers. The movie gets a slow start, but kicks off once Neeson steps foot in Europe. This movie is a must see for anyone who has ever dreamed of going the distance to save a life. Neeson’s kill moves are more effective than B.C. Powder. While pursuing a large organization of sex-traffickers in Paris, Neeson not only manages to save his daughter, but sets others free and leaves the despicable sex-traffickers running like cockroaches under the sun, the four or five that somehow manage to escape Neeson’s retribution that is. If shutting down a massive sex trafficking ring wasn’t enough, what is really great about Taken is that he outwits the French Government in the process! “Hamm-burrrg-eya! Dam-burggger! The-burrga!”
Synopsis:
Bond, Borne and everyone else, look out! After this movie there may be a shift from Chuck Norris jokes to Liam Neeson jokes!
"Taken" is a healthy mix between 8mm and Braveheart. If you have a heart for justice, and a stomach for violence against bad people – run - don’t walk and go see “Taken!”
I give it five out of five arrows right through the mark!
